Update inventory items in QuickBooks Online easily, using Business Importer.
To update inventory items in QuickBooks Online fast and easy, use Business Importer, and follow simple steps:
Step 1: Prepare your Excel file with Inventory Products you want to update in QuickBooks Online using Business Importer.
Inventory start date – the date of update of the item. Make sure that it’s not later than creation date of an item.
Item Name – the name of inventory item.
Start QNT – the quantity of inventory item.
Step 2: Go to Import and Upload your Excel file. Or you can insert Google Drive, DropBox or Microsoft OneDrive link containing the Excel with Inventory Products you are going to partially update. Select Sheet and click on the Next button.
Step 3: Select Company and Entity (Products and Services). Create Mapping. Map only 4 columns: Item name, Start QTY, Inventory Start Date, Update ( Choose Partially Update).
Update Type – Select Partial Update.
Click on the Next button.
Step 4: Preview if all fields are mapped in a right way. You can change fields in the table. Click on the Next button.
Step 5: Your import is in process. Check out the results at Imports History, or check out your e-mail.
Your Inventory Items are sucessfully updated in QuickBooks Online. Use Business Importer to partially update your Inventory Items.
